Jindarat and Jasper's Wedding

9~

Stepping forward in Thai, and a truly auspicious day for my Thai friend and her husband. We met at the chapel, down in Galveston, on May 9th, Friday and there was a white horse and carriage right in front of the 1900 house, where they got married.

Jhim looked gorgeous in white, with a tulle (clear, white) shawl over her shoulders, she said, "I do" with Jasper's family and Nora, Lou, Pi Suwalat and I all there to celebrate with her. We all had a lovely lunch at Mario's on the seawall, coffee, drinks, cheesecake was enjoyed by Anthony, AJ, Monica et al. Thank you, Jasper!!!

We actually debated whether Apollo missions landed on the moon more than once! Little did some people realize, Jim works for USA, the prime shuttle processor for NASA for the past 20 years, and we actually read...was quite an amusing discussion.

Weather was also gorgeous, so all went well, and Ford Contour 97 is still up and running! This has become Jhim's trademark car!

Congrats to the bride and groom!

Bangalore, Delhi, Malaysia and Quezon City

What do these places have in common??? Tech support for Earthlink and Compaq! Talk about frustration, 3 hours with Delhi, 2 with Bangalore, another hour each with Malaysia and the Philippines and was I mad!!!

Paid 65 bucks to get tech. support, they couldn't figure out why I couldn't get IE to open, finally, after pinging my IP and some other fun commands such as regedit, winipconfig, I realized my computer was fine, called the last coupla guys in Malaysia with Earthlink and Mozilla Firefox is now my preferred browser.

I had a magical takeover of my computer, the tech. guy from Malaysia nicely setup my email and all is well!

So, another hour with the Compaq guys, and I got my money back, too!!
